Stoic Studio has just announced the release date for part 2 of The Banner Saga (somewhat-strangely entitled The Banner Saga 2, as though it were a sequel). Although it’s a continuation of the story from the series’ first outing, The Banner Saga 2 is planned to feature some improvements, most notably improvements to the game’s […]

Word reaches me that there’s a sci-fi first-person dungeon crawler in development by San Diego indie studio Juggernaut Games called StarCrawlers. Word has it that Blossomsoft, creators of the RPG Maker jRPG Eternal Eden, are hard at work on a more polished follow-up by the name of Eternal Eden: Ecclesia. The premise for the sequel is vague on plot details, but it does contain an interesting new gameplay mechanic: Eternal Eden: Ecclesia is a direct sequel […]

Steven Peeler has emailed me to announce the release of a public demo for Soldak Entertainment’s upcoming space-based action RPG Drox Operative. Chris Legasse, he of the 1-bit roguelike MiniFlake, was good enough to notify us all that there is now a free playable demo of the game available on Desura. Also, there appears to be a proper trailer now: The demo is Windows-only; however, per the developer, the finished game will be released “on the Android, […]

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Thus, rather than tell you that strategy-RPG / western-RPG wunderkind Telepath RPG: Servants of God has just been made available for pre-order, I will use a picture: Word has it that this is going to be a good’n, but in the spirit of visuals over verbiage, […]
